Primary Structure of Protein: Peptide Bonds

A peptide bond is a covalent bond that links amino acids together to create proteins. The chains that are produced are called polypeptide chains. A peptide bond forms by the condensation reactions between the acids.

The primary structure of a protein molecule is the number and sequence of the various amino acids in the polypeptide chain. It is the "recipe." Every kind of protein has a different primary structure. ;
